Job Summary
The Customer Experience Steward is responsible for giving the customer an outstanding, excellent, first class experience. This role is a front line role which means you are required to be patient with customers whilst they decide upon their orders, take accurate orders and fulfill the orders efficiently.
To be successful in this role you must have a deep love for people and have patience with people because you know that everyone processes information differently. You are heartwarming and very innovative. You understand that you can cash and/or work the floor interchangeably.
Job Description
Meet and greet customers with a pleasant smile at all times
Take and fulfill customers orders accurately and efficiently
Record and account for daily sales
Create inventory orders and receive stock
Carry out stock audits at the start and end of work day
Provide customers with samples where necessary
Ensure your work environment is sanitary and clean
Dispose of waste (inside and outside) regularly
Your Strengths Includes
Certificate / Diploma in Food or Hospitality Industry
Minimum 2 years experience in customer service
If you do not have 2 years experience nor the certifications, you are still welcomed to apply BUT you must meet all the other requirements.
Good Police Certificate of Character
Have a food badge
Love serving and working with people
Have a lot of patience in dealing with customers and colleagues because you understand everyone learns and processes information differently.
Get annoyed when customer experience is below standard, strongly dislike when establishment’s staff is on the phone whilst being attended to and get irritated when staff is having their own personal conversation whilst you are standing in line waiting to be attended to.
You are very innovative and lead projects single handedly.
Teachable and willing to learn
Take pride in your work and understand that a good name is better than silver or gold.
