Our Company is looking for suitable persons to fill the role of Estimator. The ideal candidate will be fluent in mathematics and accounting, with in-depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods. In addition to being an excellent communicator, candidates should also be detail orientated with outstanding organizational skills.

Responsibilities of Estimator

Collate and Review Tender Documents and submission requirements in a timely manner, ensuring all financial information is identified in correspondence with the proposed design.
Consult with national and international suppliers on specific requirements and associated costs.
Collect different quotes from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Analyze company project’s data, monitor budgets and prices.
Review and assess cost estimates.
Identify labor, material, costs and time requirements by analyzing proposals, project plans, blueprints, and any related documents.
Prepare detailed cost estimate reports.
Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and subcontractors.
Oversee the different stages of a company project to ensure that expenses follow the forecast plan.
Present complex and detailed reports to management.
Compiling and recording actual costs of ongoing/finished projects.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an estimator or similar role.
Strong mathematics and IT abilities.
Proficient in relevant software including MS Office Suite.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and word processing programs.
Understanding of construction documents.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to coordinate and work independently.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketchup and Revit software.
