🌻Accounts Clerk
🌻Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze, organize and manage customer invoices.
Receive payment and be responsible for all aspects of collections.
Research and resolve customer problems related to billing and payment.
Verify and record business transactions.
Prepare and manage account statements.
Perform reconciliation of daily and monthly revenues.
Provide guidance to staff when needed.
Prepare financial reports, expense reports, revenue reports, and trial balance reports, etc for management.
Manage check transactions and payments.
Assist in procurement, payroll, and budget preparation activities.
Participate in month end account closing activities.
Perform account payable and receivable transactions.
Maintain confidentiality and security of accounting information pertinent to the Company.
🌻The incumbent will be required to:
Have a first degree in Accounting or have COMPLETED Level I ACCA, and be pursuing Level 2 ACCA;
Have two to three (2 - 3) years Accounting Experience in a customer service environment;
Have knowledge and experience working with Accounting software (eg SAGE; Quikbooks etc) and Microsoft Excel ;
Have extensive knowledge and working experience with Microsoft Word; Excel and PowerPoint.
Have extensive knowledge and skill with email and other communication tools;
Have extensive knowledge and experience implementing and working with electronic and manual filing systems.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Provide at least two (2) written professional recommendations.
Consideration will be given to Candidates with: a valid Trinidad and Tobago Driver's Permit, and access to a reliable vehicle.
