Job Description
The Health, Safety and Environmental Officer is required to develop, implement and maintain Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems that would identify work place hazards and design appropriate systems for the mitigation and control of these hazards at the workplace.

Job Details / Responsibilities
1.  Support in Compliance reviews, overall risk assessments and other related safety assessments to maintain proper Health, Safety and Environmental management

2.  Inspect facilities and examine operations to ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations and Environmental regulations

3.  Consults and advises the Heads of Departments and staff over identified hazards within area of responsibility

4.  Prepares, organizes and implements safe work procedures and measures

5.  Informs management of the violation of any Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations

6.  Investigate any incidents/accidents and determine root cause analysis

7.  Maintain records of inspection findings and suggests recommnedations based on findings and produce the related reports

8.  Keep records of any accidents/incidents and produces ststistics/reports to the General Manager

9.  Maintain relevant HSE logs and documentations

10.  Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations

11. Provide incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.
