Administrative/Accounting Assistant Required
JOB SUMMARY
To provide administrative support to the Office Manager in the day-to-day operations of the
company in a proficient and effective manner
JOB DUTIES
-Assist in the Preparation of quotations, Invoices, Tender Documents, Letter writing.
- Manage financial records, create general journals, reconciliation of accounts, preparation of
financial statement etc.
-Provide advice on financial / Accounting matters, Develop, implement and maintain accounting
records in accordance with accounting Standards
-Take note and Set reminders for meetings, schedules, deadlines etc.
-Track, monitor and follow up on accounts receivable and account payable
- Schedule job request, liaise with technicians and other relevant parties to ensure fulfillment of
request, obtain and Processing of job reports
- Enter customers and venders bills in both excel and accounting software
-General filing, inclusive of Maintaining a hard copy and digital filing system for easy retrieval.
-Update and maintenance of job files, project folders etc.
-Record and maintain employee attendance and processing of salaries
- Calculation, Preparation and submission of all statutory payments e.g. PAYE, H/S, NIS, VAT
returns etc.
-Support and assist in any other related duties that may not have been specifically mentioned
above as required.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
-Certification in Accounting & or Administration
- Minimum of two (2) years hands on experience in a similar position
-Sound secondary school education (Must have Mathematics and English)
-Knowledge and or Experience in the Electrical, Construction, or Hardware Industry would be
preferred.
-Must have experience and a good working knowledge with an accounting software (quick
books, peach tree etc.), Microsoft suites e.g. (Words, Excel, Projects etc.)
-Excellent Analytical & Team management Skills
-Must be able to pay attention to detail
-Must be reliable, responsible and dependable at fulfilling company obligations
-Must possess a high level of personal and professional integrity
-The ability to function in a fast-paced environment, keeping deadlines, functioning
independently,
-Experience in Retail sales, inventory control, Customer Service, point of sale system, etc. would
be an asset
-A Police Record of Character must be Provided (Or Receipt in the Interim)
-Preferably from the Central and surrounding areas
